I can't help you on programmable. The best coffee comes from hands-on processes, IMO: French press, pour over, Aeropress.
Espresso is another thing entirely. I've had some outstanding espresso from (very expensive) automatic machines. But for regular coffee, a drip machine will seriously hold back the potential of your coffee. This assumes you are using excellent coffee in the first place...
You have made a good point about the quality of the coffee to start off with, this is just a Trader Joe’s, pre-ground, vanilla bean, and I was using a French press, it’s my preference!
right now I just want the programmable cause it’s going to help me get out of bed much earlier than I want to, I figure the smell of coffee brewing in my kitchen, will lure me to get up. :) even tho I’m not a fan of drip. it’s kinda watery… @voltronic @amarand @Heucuva8
