Chicken pot pie! That barely-food-like item with teeny bits of chicken & perfect tiny squares of carrots…with a dubious gravy and a divine simple crust that got better the more it was over cooked.

Oh, yeah, it was. And the bonus was those flimsy aluminum pie pans they came in. So convenient.
Get ‘cher tv tray ready. Fire up that B&W tv. Spin that dial - there has to be something showing on one of 3 channels! It’s the modern age and the station hasn’t gone to bed for the night yet.
From frozen to chicken pot pie in …how long?… in the oven. A little world of wonderfulness.
