10 Not-So-Scary Horror Movies for Those Easing Into the Genre

@Apocryphiliac My husband who hates horror has seen 5 of those and loved them all. So I think yeah, it's a good way to ease into horror!

@Myana Wow, no kidding? Well, fair enough then! I kinda thought The Witch and Midsommar were pretty scary…

@Apocryphiliac Those two did not bother him in the least! He loved Army of Darkness (of course!). Annihilation and Cloverfield too.

@Myana My other issues are that I don’t know that I’d consider Annihilation or Cloverfield as horror, Midsommar is quite long, so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for someone starting out (though I really like the film) and Blair Witch Project, I just don’t think is a good enough film to warrant a spot on the list. My list would definitely have at least one John Carpenter and one George Romero flick on it, but I guess those are pretty obvious. I might go in for more horror/comedy stuff, too.
