@Apocryphiliac we were so baked when we watched Children of Men. I mean almost catatonic high and it became the standard measure for being fucked up during fucked up movies. I'm a get them real high for this one.

@Jezibaba Cuarón, I am hit and miss on (I love CoM though) but definitely the guy (or his DP) knows how to work camera movement in a way that would be… visually interesting to the catatonically high. 😁

@Apocryphiliac that one still gets me, I think about frequently and it's been 8 yrs.

@Jezibaba it’s a pretty rough watch! It feels too realistic for comfort when they’re in the war zones and security check areas.

@Apocryphiliac the premise of what we are capable of doing to ourselves even on the brink of extinction. So much going on, again. I love it.

@thudfactor Have you seen RAW? I would watch it first if you haven’t… In fact I will likely revisit that one this week if you want to catch it that way. This is a very “far out” movie. 😂

My pre-ordered BR for Ti West’s “X” should be arriving today and I’ve been _so_ looking forward to it. Probably going to stream that one tonight. 😁
