@Dane got my bivalent vaccine because I will be an election judge and wanted to boost my immunity before that very long day with the public.
I know vaccination isn’t 100%. After all, I had a mild case of COVID since I got vaccinated. But better a mild case than a deadly case - I lost colleagues and clients to this pandemic.

In a world where 100% of people are vaccinated, that's good enough. Transmission can't be maintained, so the susceptible 5% of people never get exposed.
If only 4% of people are vaccinated, every one of those susceptibles will get sick.
