Finally watched Thor: Love and Thunder. Hoo boy. It felt like they were trying to recapture that Ragnarok feeling, but Ragnarok let the jokes grow organically from the plot, not letting them take the forefront.
In T:LaT, the jokes feel forced, especially considering how Jane figures into the story. The third act was strong, but alas, to get to it, once must get through acts one and two.

Interesting take, and agreed. For me it was the soundtrack. As petty as it may be, I loathe guns n roses. Axel's voice is my kryptonite. The songs ruined the movie for me.
