Sitting in a Township Planning meeting for a company that wants to expand. Why does the company lawyers always sound like the companies are trying to get away with things that are detrimental to the health, safety, and welfare of the surrounding neighborhoods.
Call me crazy, but maybe they are? 🤷🏻♀️

We mere citizens don’t have the deep pockets to hire the acoustical engineer to counter theirs, nor air quality engineers to talk about how much emissions idling diesel trucks spew. Their professionals state it is not “substantial” We did manage to get a decent list of conditions. And enforcement is generally okay. Not perfect, but okay
