Anyone else get a sudden craving for something they haven't eaten in decades?
This morning, while driving to work, I got this huge craving for a sticky bun from the College Diner in State College, PA. They bake them on sheet pans and cut them into little rectangles, just dripping with caramelized sugar. They're best when hot and served a la mode.
No, I did not immediately turn around and drive 700 miles for a food craving.
@AbelUndercity Burgers. Been craving one for the last week! Haven't had a good burger in ages. Right now, there's mostly two types available near me - cheap crap or really expensive so the only acceptable options are to make them myself from scratch or to buy decent supermarket ones and toast the buns and add all the extras etc myself, which I've not had time for.
So close to doing the latter, I'm just trying to get through all the best-before/use-by dates of things I have in the fridge already
