I was being headhunted by Amazon about a year ago. It's been made clear twice now that accepting that role would have been a huge mistake. Huge. #RandomThoughts

@kel - a friend's employer was bought by Amazon a few years ago. They showered him with good pay requiring a bit of extra travel.
Now he's faced with finding a new job, relocating, or a 3 hour one way commute. (I did that same commute for 2 weeks while looking for a place to live... Not good)
@0x56 I asked around. They had a few good teams, but getting on one was like Russian roulette. Even if you did, that company burns through people like matches and has zero loyalty towards anyone. Hard pass.
