As much work as this would load up on me, I'd love to see some of these changes come to COPPA.
"Senate lawmakers on Tuesday introduced new bipartisan legislation that gives kids under 16 years old and their parents substantially more control over their data while further limiting the data-collection practices of apps, websites, and online services."

However, I would change this to all users, or failing that, 18 and under.
@0x56 I see the unlimited data coming to an end with-in 10 years max.
The younger consumer is much more aware of how they are a commodity.
That said I also believe while they will have more control, they will willing give it for access.
@davidcoley - I'm not so sure.. look at the IG accounts - I have a niece with one and it's all selfies with recognizable brands/landmarks - something FB and Google can relatively easily monetize.
@davidcoley - I see the former happening, but I don't see full stack ownership really happening anytime in the next 25 years.
@0x56 The internet is 30 years old today. What we see on it is mostly about 15 years old. Most cross-data is only 10 years old as Big Data begins to get more pull.
With the AI and NL and ML work, the problem will just get worse.
