I think we can safely say that the 1.5 degree C limit for global warming proposed in Paris was at best aspirational. It is clear that the oil producing nations haven't made enough money yet and are too dense to understand that, at this rate, all the money in the world can't save them from their own avarice. The 1.5 number is now out of reach as a limit. We now look to 2.5, but with tipping points on the edge, even now, that goal is also unrealistic. My expectation is now 8 to 12. #ClimateChange
