@wyrmeboi: It tracks, I think, in part because in more and various quarters the evidence of climate change has become evident and even unavoidable. Sure, many deniers are Mr. & Mrs. Moneybags and also the usual Dipshit Deplorables and "Free-Thinkers" or whatever, but their numbers are lowering.
