@Maude In my area, home heating oil and gas prices at the pump had a spike about a month before the election, and dropped significantly within a week of the election. The fossil fuel industry definitely puts their thumbs on the scale!

@wyrmeboi Amen. I've been screaming this for 3 years.
Here in Texas, have friends in the O&G industry. Rigs were shut down & held at maintenance level during pandemic. Post pandemic, companies kept them shut down because world market prices kept prices up. The faster we move from fossil fuel, the better.
