It's my man's birthday and we're drunk. I'm finding it's a great way to deal with the bitter disappointment of what happened in Texas yesterday.
I know I need to fight, but part of me just wants to be apolitical, because literally nothing in Texas changes, except to make things worse. 🤬

@wyrmeboi Really? How? We want to teach that slaves loved being slaves & that Moses was a founding father. We took away women's bodily autonomy. We put more guns on the street & DOUBLED the child murder rate
We won't legalize marijuana or have a decent medical program. We won't expand Medicaid. We don't sell alcohol on Sundays or after 9pm
We're losing teachers & keep defunding public schools. The waitlist for disabled services is 10 years long
Texas is pathetic.
@Devlyn_Angel The number of Texans that support the policies that you have been describing has been dropping for more than a decade. In another decade (or perhaps less), a guy like Beto can win there. Chin up! Keep fighting.
