Early 80s, I was into SF and D&D when I heard a radio interview with the author talking about his sf/fantasy novels. I'd never heard of him or them but they sounded interesting so the next day I went to the school library & checked out the first Hawkmoon novel. Little did I know I'd taken my first steps into a vast of adventure or that thanks to a show whose name I've long forgotten I'd found my favourite author. From such seeds do vast libraries grow.
