@whoHearer if warnock asked me for vote, id give him vote. walker would never get it.
@whoHearer It doesn’t mine, I understand it, because I understand a media & social environment similar to the one many casual political observers who likely voted for Walker live in. I don’t agree with their choice, but I understand it.
Kathy Cramer explains facets of it well in “the politics of resentment” and it’s not what many think
@EelGM I've lived among the people who would vote for Walker all my life, I just foolishly continue to think they willl somehow do better.
@whoHearer I don’t, I am in Wisconsin we still lead the country in farm bankruptcies some rural counties still have double digit unemployment and all the people hear from Dems is that they are privileged uneducated racists, so they vote GOP out of spite 🤷♂️ it’s not a rocket science calculation why they are susceptible to GOP b.s.
@EelGM Well, I did admit it was foolish of me to expect them to do better, so there's that...
@whoHearer I think some would easily do better if they heard an alternative economic message, but the GOP/Dem prior to trump is about the same to them, Trump gave them an alternative a dumb, scapegoat alternative but an alternative wrapped up in a ton of crap.
Give some of them an alternative like what Thomas Frank writes about and how Fetterman showed and many will take it.
@whoHearer
Take your victories where you can get them. The only thing worse than a sore loser is a sore winner.
