I've posted this before I think.
This is a 15 minute guided Progressive Muscle Relaxation session from the National Health Service.
It's a really very useful technique for reducing stress in your body. All those tight muscles from being constantly in fight-or-flight mode.
It's *so* relaxing you might fall asleep, so maybe not while you're driving, ok? 😜
So. Sent in my voter registration form over a month before the last day.The rest of the house didn't get it done until the last day, but the guy at the post office promised they would be marked that day and that's what's needed.
Today, the county clerk's office says none of us are registered, we did follow the rules correctly, but "the mail hasn't been reliable for this".
That does not sound good. I'm wondering how many people are effected by this.

My new cards are here! This tarot deck was made by the same woman who made the Southern Gothic and Southern Botanical Oracle decks, and the design matches with those decks. I also supported the Kickstarter on the level to get the playing cards added.
I'm probably going to disappear for a few days and then excitedly talk about the cards when anyone finds me!
Inktober, day 31 - I made it all the way! One drawing or painting each day. Happy Halloween to the little dragons seeking treasure!

I found out through We Rate Dogs about Dogs Matter. It's a program to provide free foster care for dogs while their humans are in rehab so the human can focus on recovery and know they will be reunited with their dog.
They also do wellness checks for 12 months after reuniting in case more support is needed.
Inktober, day 30. "Ghost in the closet". I was halfway done when I thought, "Who has this much space in their closet?"

My dorodango is finished! Made from dirt from my yard, water, and a lot of jokes about rubbing my balls.

Dorodango update: The mudball is as smooth as I can get it. Just minor differences that you have to pay attention and feel for. The cracks are filled in, and I like how it looks like a turtle shell, but I don't know if the lines will stay or blend in as it dries more.

Inktober, day 28. Sometimes the difference between "art" and "a mess" is presentation.
I just randomly painted sections of the paper. Once it was dry, I went back and outlined where colors change.

Inktober, day 27. I've got a lot of pain today, so this is like notes for a future drawing. It's looking at a portal from a side view, so the portal is a line between two worlds.

Mudball update : It's as round as it's getting. Now I'm sprinkling little bits of dry dirt on and gently rubbing it. The dirt acts as a fine abrasive, and it also gets massaged into any tiny cracks and holes to fill them.

The town hates the pride flag I put up outside our very queer home. Yeah...we knew that would happen. It's a small town. We get told when somebody hears somebody complain.
A family friend in another town recently told us complaints were happening in a local VFW hall. And one of the vets - I'm guessing by age he's likely a Vietnam vet - quieted everybody.
He simply said, "No, we're not doing that here. We fought for everybody. We didn't choose who to fight for."
My mudball won't be as big as I thought. I'll need to make a bigger core next time if I want a bigger finished ball.
That glass vase is what I'm using to rub it. It's in the plastic bag now and will get another layer in a couple of hours.
