So. Sent in my voter registration form over a month before the last day.The rest of the house didn't get it done until the last day, but the guy at the post office promised they would be marked that day and that's what's needed.
Today, the county clerk's office says none of us are registered, we did follow the rules correctly, but "the mail hasn't been reliable for this".
That does not sound good. I'm wondering how many people are effected by this.
@PoliticalEd That's a good point...it may count later. The county clerk said we could do it, but it wouldn't count. And she sounded very apologetic and frustrated with what's happening. I can only imagine how many of these calls she's had to answer.
@weirdfizz
Uh oh.
The USPS has been my voting concern for a while now. I know many have used successfully, but #DeJoy has not prioritized the election materials. He was confronted by politicians about this months ago & DeJoy made promises, but I don't know if any of those politicians followed through.
I do know that over 32,000 votes were not counted in my state last fall because of problems with #USPS.

@arthurpendragon As much as I'm feeling the "let me VOTE", my bigger concern really is that...how many people will this happen to? Because our house isn't going to change any election, but this isn't something we're being targeted for. It's more than just us.
@weirdfizz If at all possible, get you and your fam to fill out provisional ballots, at least you will have something on record if they find out they messed up and you're actually eligible.
