My new guitar strings are here! But... I did a lot of cleaning today and my hands refuse to do more. I have made it known in the house that I will be unavailable tomorrow. I have strings to change and music to play.

I did my dance exercise in the yard today. Filled the bird feeder. Gave the corn dollie back to the Land.

I don't know how this would work with other acoustic guitars. Years ago, when I was trying to learn guitar, the classical guitar was recommended to me because I prefer fingerstyle over strumming. I just can't keep the chord formations for both instruments in my head, so I now play the guitar like a ukulele.

I have realized that if you play a classical guitar like a ukulele, people who don't play either instrument will think your guitar playing is beautiful.

I may just start telling them it's a 6 string bass ukulele.

I strained my back pretty bad moving it today. My husband told me later, "Why did you move it? It weighs around 100 pounds!"

Well, I wouldn't have lifted it if I knew THAT!

Some of my plants took some damage last night. I'm afraid a few of them may not survive. I'm going to try to heal them, though. They are my friends.
