@sentientdessert Mine stays indoors. I probably could put her outside for most of the year where we are now, but spending half the year inside was an absolute necessity where we lived before. So she's used to it. I keep her in a good window and use a plant light to help with that in the winter. A gallon of distilled water lasts me a couple of months for watering. We have good local water, but I use distilled just for this plant.

Oh, I see #CoSoPlants is a tag! I'll be adding to that as we move into the growing part of the year.

My Cape Sundew is now a Lake Monster plant! My sisters-in-law gave the fish pot to me for Christmas, and I knew it would be for the Cape Sundew when it was time to clean her up and repot her. A fish with carnivorous tentacles! 🥰

@Coffee_and_Salt @th3j35t3r I've never actually spoken with Alfred. We haven't been properly introduced, and he seems like one who has had strict social programming.

I've been listening to "November Rain" a lot lately. When the video came out...look, that was a time. This was different from what we expected! And it was easy to get so caught up in the story the video was telling that I never really paid attention to the lyrics.

I'm older now, and the lyrics mean more now.

I told my sister-in-law, "I know the chances of you having a traditional 'happy birthday ', so instead I will wish you a mirthful birthful!"

Her laughter was so worth it! She dreads this day every year. To give her even a minute of that surprise joy is ME getting to be the one who recieves a gift!

I'm in a quiet period, and I find I really appreciate how CoSo works. I feel I can dip in and out as I need to and that's good. No battling The Algorithms. #CoSoRocks

I'm spending a lot of time lately knitting, writing, drawing...but sharing very little. That's not a bad thing. It's just interesting because I'm usually excited to share what I'm working on. Not used to being so comfortable with doing it and not sharing it.

There's a lot of frustration in pagan/occult/divination communities about scamming impersonator accounts on IG. I wrote about that this week. Some of it probably applies to other communities and other platforms, too.
