It’s taken me some time to adjust to the choruses labeling gop dudes “weird”. I think weird is interesting. But I can see it really gets under their skin. I had to think about why that is.
They are genuinely desperate to be seen as the norm, leaders even, and weird destroys that. They can’t push back by disparaging the feelings of the libs. There really isn’t any comeback. No I’m normal or No I’m not, you are.
