My nephew is pissing off the whole house with his attitude of wanting all of the liberties and none of the responsibilities of adulthood. I have worked so hard not to become a repeat of my mother, but for a few minutes tonight all I could hear coming out of my mouth was her.
@BillieBun That's true. There are times when allowing more excuses isn't being kind. It's just making it clear that boundaries won't be enforced.
@weirdfizz Exactly. I have shirt tail relatives who have enabled their 26 yr old son to the point where he is physically assaulting them. He has also brought a gun into the home. They've made excuses for him for years, bailed him out of jail, and it has led to the situation they now are faced with.
