@SnelsetterFarm Oh no! I make sure I always have at least one extra set of strings. My husband asked once if it was really that important. I don't know how I looked at him, but he immediately said, "Okay. Yes, it is."
@weirdfizz My spares box is a cubic foot of clutter - extra slides, capos and strings but they're banjo, six string and resonator, not uke. I just assumed I had some.
The bottom inch of it is all flat picks, which I don't even use. They just reproduce spontaneously.
I need to call in a Marie Kondo strike on the whole thing.
