I need celebrity deaths to be put on hold for a while. In some ways, these people raised me. They taught me a lot through the TV. Processing a world that doesn't have them in it anymore is weird. Not the nice weird.
Agree totally. I move from one grief cycle to another.

I watched a special on Norman Lear last year. It featured so many of the shows he created. I think Jimmy Fallon said to him "you raised us more than our parents". Well, maybe not more, but as I watched the clips from many of the shows, I realized he was correct that they helped raise us tv watchers.
