I understand some sportsball event is happening. I'm, um... not into sportsball. I have learned over the years to say very vague things like, "That was some game, huh?" and, "How'd you like that one play? Everybody's gonna talk about it for months!"
Mostly, though, if you like sportsball, I hope the event is enjoyable for you no matter who wins.
@BlueMan2 That's pretty much it! I have actually faked my way through conversations in stores by just being really vague in my responses.
@weirdfizz The Monday morning meetings at work are the worst--10 minutes of preamble about the incredible game the day before.
@weirdfizz I saw a tee shirt for sale online somewhere that said "My Local Athletic Organization is Superior to Your Local Athletic Organization".
