So...it seems #covid has taken most of my hearing, but only temporarily! So, I mean, don't panic like I did at first.
I have hearing loss from ear infections and surgery as a kid, but not enough for hearing aids to be considered medically necessary. Suddenly, everything sounds like I'm underwater! Likely to be fluid buildup in the middle ear. Hopefully it'll clear soon.
@Dogofalltrees I'm a very resilient delicate creature. This is just kind of "next weird thing on the list" for me. 😄 And I am thankful that I have a really good doctor.
ugh yeah multiple ear infections as a kid, had tubes put it twice, also have busted *both* eardums twice...
i know that underwater sound. 😫
@Ubiety I remember after my tubes were put in I freaked out over some weird sound one day! Took my parents forever to figure out I was just hearing the fridge draining from defrosting. They didn't notice because it was such a common sound, but I had never been able to hear it before.

@HealingHobbit I don't know. My symptoms are shifting a lot, which is a normal part of things at this point. But I can tell you nothing is getting worse. Everything is moving toward getting better.

@HealingHobbit Thank you. I've never been properly trained for channeling energy. I can turn it on and turn it off, but no greater control than that. And it does drain me, probably because of that lack of training. So I guess I've always thought it drains other people, too.
@weirdfizz I have friends who have been trained, and it drains them. I have no idea what the difference is, I just know I've always been more of a conduit. I've done 7 sessions in one day, and the only thing that happened was that I felt elated at the end of the day. 😁
