@Crazygingerlady My dyscalculia wasn't recognized until I was 17, and it's balanced by hyperlexia. So that was years of, "We know you're more than smart enough! Stop slacking off!" My algebra teacher was the one who said I was definitely trying, and simply not trying wouldn't explain it. He suggested an evaluation for learning disability.
