While red states work to suppress the vote, new voter registration is surging, specifically in these demographics:
Young Black women +176%
Young Latina women +150%
Black women +98%
Blacks +86%
Young women +84%
These new voters are mostly not represented in the polls, and are difficult for pollsters to reach. How many young people do you know who will answer the phone to an unknown number?
@walterbays Meanwhile, here in TX they just purged over 1 million voter registrations.
@MakerWerks I eagerly await a credible news organization reporting the demographics of the purged voters. E g. do they have "foreign sounding" names, live in "Black" neighborhoods, go to college?
@MakerWerks I used to live in Houston and considered joining the KKK. 😲Now wait... Klan was burning Vietnamese shrimp boats. Buddies and I thought maybe we'd join, get a majority, change the rules, and elect a Black president of the chapter, start doing community outreach events, but new boats for shrimpers...
Sanity (fear) prevailed as we realized KKK doesn't really do that democracy stuff, nor have a sense of irony.

@walterbays Well they can already legally just throw out election results from counties over certain population, of which there just happens to be only one. It's also the largest concentration of Dem votes. 🤔
