I'm running low on acetaminophen so I pull up the Wallymart site to check on the price and I noticed there's this arthritis version.

Does anyone take this, or has taken it, instead of basic acetaminophen?

@see_the_sus Uninformed opinion: I thought acetaminophen does little for arthritis because it's not anti-inflammatory. Ibuprofen is, but is harder on kidney and liver than acetaminophen. Homeopathic arnica might be worth discussing with your NP. Anti-inflammatory. Might help you keep doses of other two to safe levels.

@walterbays

I appreciate your suggestions but I've lived with my conditions for decades & have done a lot of research, in addition to talking with all the dr's I've had, and for the most part, I know what works & what doesn't work. Arnica only helps for minor pain and it isn't covered by medical insurance.

If I could afford acupuncture and massage therapy, I wouldn't be on 1/2 of the meds that I am on.

I wasn't asking people to tell me how or what I should or shouldn't be doing or taking.

@walterbays

Just ask if I, and others, want your advice, before assuming we do. 🤷 You'd be amazed at how wonderful it is to be asked. 😊
