@Carolyn_haack Thanks. He's a rescued runt of the litter, now 17 pounds. Irresistible to pet him. He loves it and purrs and often bites a little because that's how you show love. Holds your hand with claws. Keep petting. I usually have a wound or two healing.

Keeps me company when I go in the pool/spa walking along the rim precariously balanced, leaning down to investigate the water. It always turns out to be wet.
