I purchased this piece of art today.

Titled "Captured Covid", the idea is that because coronavirus forced everyone to isolate, the artist made a version of it and forced it into the same isolation.

Artist: Laurie Collins
Medium: Recycled steel and timber.

The corona "cell" is not fixed, so if you turn the cage it rolls around.

I just really liked the idea and the piece is great (wood and timber together is my jam too).

I'll probably make a plinth if some sort for it.
