Oh, I missed this yesterday.

Yesterday was the 20 year anniversary of the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Not great, and I wish it didn't happened. But it was a huge global event that impacted a lot of people; including me.

I was in Iraq, although not until 2007. I wasn't combat arms or anything, but I still received scars; due to the use of burn pits.

@volcheck Thank you. Not so much injuries as I developed asthma and other respiratory and sinus issues. But I am a disabled veteran now, and I receive compensation.

Other people have it much, much, much worse than me. Especially the ones who didn't make it home. And not to mention all the civilians of Iraq.
