I voted, as I always do, but why do election days make me lose faith in humanity a little?

Just spent an hour in line in our teeny tiny town to fill out a hand ballot that then got scanned in. Voted straight democratic ticket just like I have every year since 2016. #Politics #BetoForTexas

I'm so fed the hell up with the way the media words things. Just saw a CNN post on FB that says "which election matchup is most exciting to you? I commented "Exciting? this isn't a fckn sporting event, this is whether we keep a democracy or slide into fascism."

2/3 of eligible voters historically don't vote because they assume everyone else has and/or their vote doesn't matter. PLEASE don't leave it to chance. I have voted and I hope you will, too.

If you are going to the polls to vote today please keep in mind which Party is trying to prevent the ballots of those who serve our country from being counted.

It still amazes me that you don't have to vote here.

In my heart I feel like there can't possibly be more red voters than blue at this point in the timeline. However, no matter what happens, for the moment I'm feeling calm. The texts, phone calls, emails, and commercials will stop, the voting will be done, and I have no control over what happens from here. All I can do is my part.
