It always awesome to wake up with blood monitor just saying HIGH & with an arrow pointing up (indicating it’s still rising) because your pump was not successfully put in the night before. Fortunately this doesn’t happen often but it makes for a rough morning.

@untogetherxxx My doctor has suggested I try a pump. But I keep hearing people's stories of this kind of stuff, and I'm still at the "no, I'll just stab myself with needles for a while longer" stage.

@CoyoteConscious Nothing is perfect but I do like the pump more. I had one years ago with no continuous glucose monitor and that was far more more risky. Now with the two it’s easier to catch it when these things happen. Overall it’s far less to worry about and carry around.
