Is there anyone on this site full of exceptionally educated and creative people who can tell whether this odd chunk of metallic-looking rock I have is a METEORITE, or just slag?

@nopuppet_007 Some options you can do now to determine probability:

1. Test if it's magnetic at all.
2. Drag it across a sheet of paper. If it doesn't leave a trail, or leaves a very faint gray one, it could be a meteorite.
