Each user's individual profile is their own space, the collection of which comprise this public forum.
No one expects you personally to be their therapist when they make a post about their troubles. They're not inflicting anything on you.
Using your logic, shouldn't you bring this up with Jester, the only person qualified to do something about it? I'm sure making a new rule that only cheery small talk is allowed would go over well. Ironically, your post would be against those rules.
