@AlphaCentauri @tw33k How about teaching the Bible from (where sources are available) the perspective of those it brands as antagonists... the Babylonians, the Philistines, the Pharisees, the Romans... and so on and so forth.
Might technically satisfy the mandate, but with very different takeaways?

Wait until they get teachers teaching the Bible using actual up to date research on textual analysis and oldest available documents. Their kids will learn about the dates and sources and how they were redacted, and they will be pissed that their story of the Bible flowing out of the pens of Moses and the evangelists will look stupid.
