Diagnosed with serious mental illnesses and has a criminal record in connection to her behavior, and she still had no problem getting ahold of an assault rifle. 'murica.
(I'll still point out that most mentally ill people are more likely to be victims than aggressors, but in her case they had YEARS of red flags.)

@tw33k It never fails to amaze me when they tell us "If you see something, say something." Literally every case you'll find lots of people "saying something " yet nothing is done.
