Twitter bringing in right-wing people in their platforms. Now, they can’t operate spaces for Douchebagtis properly. I think it’s time to jump the ship.

I went to a recruiting conference last week and there’s a guy presenting about Talent Acquisition and AI. I thought his presentation hit a lot of points of what to do and not to do. This part, now learning more about Sam Altmann, seems creepy. youtube.com/shorts/uWyjjjf1CUo

I’m realizing there are not a lot open positions for my job and the debt limit is coming next week. No wonder companies are holding out.

Controversial opinion: corporations should not have News divisions anymore. If they’re not doing journalism, it’s PR. It’s an expanded version of Entertainment Tonight. Only Public Media should do journalism. I didn’t watch the Town Hall, but from all accounts, it’s a PR stunt.

So we have George Santos and Timothy Burke (formerly Deadspin and Daily Beast, @bubbaprog on Twitter) got raided. Someone was keeping watch with no sleep.

I have been out for a while as I’m laid off and still be with my current company until June 1. I’m still looking for a recruiter/talent acquisition/ Sourcer job. I prefer to be remote, but if it’s hybrid, I’m based in the DC Metro area. If you have any openings, please let me know.

I’m surprised at some reactions about Biden running again that they were not thrilled but it is their only choice. I mean, he’s the incumbent. You want democracy or dictatorship? Your choice.

Big news (for me): New York court ruled in favor of the Washington Nationals and the orioles and MASN have to pay $100M+ to the Nats. John and Peter Angelo’s could appeal to the Supreme Court, but it unlikely they will hear the case baltimoresun.com/sports/oriole

On top of the cable news firings, Bam Margera is on the run in Pennsylvania. What a week and it’s only Monday.

Tucker Carlson gone from Fox News
Don Lemon gone from CNN
Jeff Shell gone from NBCUniversal
Mike Soltys (PR guy for 43 years) gone from ESPN.

It’s a bloodbath in cable.

Since Twitter took out verification, now I can go here and read actual stories.

A study on how Dominos (and Pizza Hut) use dark patterns, UX tricks and design psychology to overcharge customers.

*NoFoxFee.com. I could redraft, but people were responding

While I would love the Dominion vs. Fox trial to go on, Dominion had to accept. Saw their value and it’s $50 million. They hit the jackpot with $787.5M. Credit their lawyers and them of keeping receipts.

Fox doesn’t have to do a public apology, but now they have to handle Smartmatic and renegotiate fees with cable companies. The latter is what matters the most because the people can voice their opinions on Fox News. Your voice could render Fox News meaningless. Go to GoFoxFee.com

If you have Xfinity, Charter, or Cox as your provider, Fox News is up for renegotiations. If Fox News air commercials of cable companies taking away the channel, do call and “I don’t want it. If you want my money, Fox News has to go or have people pay a premium price.” You can also go to nofoxfee.com. twitter.com/goangelo/status/16

Oh my Gawd, the day might be coming: Dan Snyder selling the Commanders. Pinch me, I’m dreaming! twitter.com/sportico/status/16
