A 13 year old, Black child by the name of Sinzae Reed is shot by a 36 year old, white man named Kreig Butler. Occured Oct. 2022 in Columbus, Ohio. Reed dies in the hospital. Butler is arrested the next day. Witnesses say Butler got of his truck and shot Reed, then left the scene. Butler claims it was self defense. No weapon is found at the scene, witnesses say he did not have one. Charges are dropped and Butler is released. Prosecutors say they may still go to a GJ.
