Had to put my good girl down last week. Ultrasound revealed she had cancer. We did all we could to make her well. I'm beyond broken. Thanksgiving was awful without her here. Her ashes come home tomorrow. My other pup is so sad and confused.
It is really difficult. I had a 14 y/o buddy that had a rapidly growing tumor. Had to do the right thing -and it was maybe the hardest thing I have ever done. You are not broken. Its supposed to feel that way, My deepest condolences. She was your friend and you miss her.

@oldguycrusty Thank you for your kind words but I am broken. This has been a terrible year - cancer surgery, an autoimmune disease diagnosis, my sister died, my mother in law died and now my sweet pup. I'm truly broken.
