The news comes as Kojima Productions is expanding quite a bit following the success of the original Death Stranding. A sequel is in the works, due out in 2025, as is a live-action film from A24. The studio said in a press release that “now has full ownership of the Death Stranding IP,” and that it will continue to bring it to “more platforms and audiences.”

Can't wait to see more from this fascinating world only from the epic and unique mind of Kojima.

Sam Porter Bridges has finally trekked his way to Xbox.

Kojima Productions announced today that the director’s cut of Death Stranding is now available on the Xbox Series X / S. For a limited time the port will be available for 50 percent off. The studio also launched the game on Luna, Amazon’s fledgling game streaming service.

Death Stranding first launched in 2019, as Hideo Kojima’s first release after going independent, following a messy split with Konami.

Still haven't played? DO.

How fitting ...

The powerful James Webb Space Telescope has revealed a phenomenon once thought impossible. Scientists found this black hole has exceeded the "Eddington limit," which is basically the maximum brightness an object can achieve and how rapidly it can consume matter. This particular black hole, dubbed LID-568, is feeding ravenously on matter at a rate 40 times faster than thought possible.

The investigation of LID-568 has only just begun.

If you're not watching and in , I highly recommend you add it to your watchlist (along with Inspector of course)

5 out of 10 episodes have aired so far.

🤣 this gave me a chucke ❤️ 👍🏾 Say what you want about NE but we're one of the last bastions. It's just a matter of time though. Things were close in almost all NE states except for maybe MA.

I went to bed later than usual because I was watching the epicness that is 👍🏾 but my numbers are perfect.

I forget that 85 is technically the cutoff for efficiency. These are great numbers for a Thursday and especially considering I was up past my ideal sleep window.

I've been working through an and keep falling asleep after the first chapter due to terrible latency but 18 minutes is actually perfect.

Only 5 more chapters! How does it all end?

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE first episode of .

This should have gotten more than 3 episodes. What an absolute disservice.

I'm only a few minutes into the first episode of but I can tell you right now that this series deserved way more than 3 episodes ...

Both Andrew Gower and Sharon D Clarke are exceptional. Their chemistry is kind of amazing and unexpectedly powerful.

I HIGHLY recommend this epicness.

This is another notable aspect of Inspector Ellis – series creators Paul Logue and Sian Ejiwunmi-Le Berre chose not to establish their protagonist as an entrenched member of a single community, but to make her an itinerant detective sent to help overmatched police departments solve confounding murders. In terms of doggedness and compassion, Ellis is comparable to DS Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire) in Happy Valley ....

Acorn TV’s new three-part crime drama Inspector Ellis is in the classic mold of engrossing, emotionally nuanced series such as Morse and Dalgleish, with the welcome and long-overdue update of being led by a Black woman. Veteran stage and screen actress Sharon D Clarke brings a compelling mix of tenacity and tenderness to her performance as DCI Ellis.

I have been enjoying Andrew Gower's work in Miss Scarlet and the Duke and he's in a new series called with the epic Sharon D Clarke.

DCI Ellis is a formidable cop who takes over the most challenging unsolved cases across Northwest England. Her unflappable demeanor disguises a deep-seated compassion for the victims, fueled by her complicated past.

It's really great revisiting with @IronButterfly 👍🏾 There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss the old classic CW shows. They weren't perfect, they weren't for everyone, but the spirit of them was so great. Not just the capes and masks but also stuff like Vampire Diaries, Riverdale, and Nikita etc.

I miss Katie Cassidy (yes, daughter of David).

It took me a long time to enjoy the character of Laurel Lance mainly because the writers gave her nothing real to do until way later. ❤️

Netflix has revealed a quick clip trailer for a documentary film called The Only Girl in the Orchestra, made by filmmaker Molly O'Brien.

Trailblazing double bassist Orin O'Brien was never one to seek the spotlight, but when Leonard Bernstein hired her in 1966 as the first female musician in the New York Philharmonic, she inevitably became the focus of media attention and, ultimately, one of the most renowned musicians of a generation.

According to a report from Variety, Riot Games is struggling to find its path in the entertainment industry because it spent so much money getting Arcane out the door.

Because of that, the company reportedly spent $60 million on the marketing for Arcane‘s first season, which is a price tag that far exceeds the norm for a show not being distributed by its studio.

Arcane was initially planned at a 5 season show, but the series will be coming to an end after only 2.

As League of Legends producer Riot Games and French animation studio, Fortiche are about to premiere season 2 on Netflix, some new information has been shared about the series that is very interesting.

It turns out that Arcane is the most expensive animated show ever made! It cost $250 million to produce 18 episodes.

Epictetus was a Greek Stoic philosopher. He was born into slavery at Hierapolis, Phrygia and lived in Rome until his banishment, when he went to Nicopolis in northwestern Greece.

He is known for his foundational works in Stoic philosophy, The Enchiridion and Discourses. The Enchiridion is a polished guide to living like a Stoic, while Discourses is a representation of Epictetus' lectures.

His teachings focused on ethics, integrity, self-management, and personal freedom.
