is to star in a new Acorn TV series set in Ireland and I can't wait for it to air. ❤️

I love cosy Acorn TV murder mystery, amateur sleuth series like and Agatha Raisin etc and this one sounds like it will follow the same focus.

The upcoming series is called and Silverstone stars as Fiona Sharpe, a hot-shot Los Angeles divorce lawyer who receives a letter from her estranged father and sets out to uncover the mystery of his disappearance.

ITV has recommissioned Jed Mercurio's for a 3rd season and will reprise her role as bomb disposal operative Lana Washington.

I've never been in this situation for more than 30 seconds. If I'm ever in an environment where someone would ask me this, I know I shouldn't be there surrounded by people would ask such a question especially in that way. It's so very simple. It's not a space for me and the people aren't good for me either.

is an epic series headlined by Swedish star Alexandra Rapaport.

Some much needed with @IronButterfly. Might be the last comfortable day for a while.

Enjoying good company and a good laugh after a tribe discussion about the importance of growth, appreciating and evolving from learning new things about ourselves, and the importance of curiosity and desire in that process.

Ok it was just me giving one of my famous 4 hour lectures but still ... 🤣

Han Kang is the first Korean writer and the eighteenth woman to win the award. In 2016, she won the International Booker Prize for her novel The Vegetarian. She was the first Korean writer to win that award as well.

Congratulations to the South Korean author Han Kang, who has just won The Nobel Prize in Literature 2024.

Though she has been publishing in her native South Korea since the early 1990s, the 53-year-old Han was virtually unknown to Western readers until the English translation of “The Vegetarian” in 2016.

Her meteoric rise since attests to the outsize influence that individual translators can exert on the literary world and a burgeoning global interest in East Asian storytelling.

Kathy says she knows why she ate ... she can pinpoint it exactly NOW but why not think about that stuff back then when she was having trouble fitting into things and getting the roles she wanted. It was tied to self esteem but there was no help or insight for her at the time. She knew why she was doing it and just couldn't stop.

I always tell people to think more and feel less and they think there is something wrong with that mentality. You could be living better. That's NEVER a waste.

What really sucks about this ... and sucks in general is that people don't listen to their bodies when they're young. They don't pay attention to doing things to ensure they live longer and better ... they don't start paying attention until something bad happens or when they get old and it's not that it's too late but it becomes harder and some things are irreversible.

Health should be more of a priority and we should have education on our health ALL THROUGH SCHOOL but we don't.

Great interview with about developing her character on , what sold her on the role, how she lost weight so she could be more physically able to do the role like stand for long periods of time and even fitting into anything for costume design purposes etc. It's mainly about health issues and how she's worked so hard to overcome them and that everything coincided with getting Matlock.

And that Jason I was writing about is a racist, alt-right republican now ... big surprise there.

Bull riding is abuse and so is what you do to yourself when you allow your emotions to dictate your actions and rule over your life.

You only hurt yourself and others.

You shouldn't be on the back of a bull in the first place.

You wouldn't be if you used reason and logic to understand yourself and the world around you and how your dysregulated actions inflict wounds on yourself and others.

Emotions will do their own thing and you are just along for the ride and you just are responding to where the emotions are taking you.

You can learn the patterns, you can develop a relationship with your emotions, but you cannot control them.

Navigating and riding emotions out is NOT the same as thinking, processing, and not allowing them to drag you everywhere.

All you're doing is holding on for dear life, pretending you're in control which is "bull"shit you tell yourself.

11/

In my class I call this PBR - Process BEFORE Response and I help my students remember it by likening it to the actual PBR (Professional Bull Riders).

If you have ever seen professional bull riding you'll understand how I liken it to what I observe most people doing all the time ... they are just wildly riding emotions.

They believe they are in control of those emotions because they have experienced them so often but you really aren't in control at all.

10/

The less you think and know about yourself, the more easily you can be manipulated, groomed, and controlled by outside influence.

The less you think and understand about yourself, the more easily you will fall prey to destructive emotions.

If you think REACTIONS are the same as PROCESSES then I'd say you need to rethink a lot about what you think you know.

How you think and how you feel are two completely separate things. If you don't understand that ... you need to learn.
