My #RotoVR chair has arrived! It's in more than a few pieces with very minimal build instructions but it honestly doesn't need much. The parts on the floor are basically the base, feet, wheels and motor ... everything else is seat and back. My tribemate and I have almost completed the build.
I cannot express how much I'm looking forward to trying this beautiful accessibility technology. 🎉
The #RotoVR is absolutely one of the best pieces of tech I have owned in decades. Not only is it made well and builds perfectly, it just simply works right out of the box. The head tracking just fucking works. You turn your head and you spin. I used it just now to play my all time favorite #VR game #UntilYouFall and the experience was absolutely incredible and comfortable. I could look, dodge, block enemies from any direction seamlessly with absolutely zero motion sickness or lag.
One of the biggest hindrances for me with #VRGaming is accessibility.
Due to #chronicillness and #chronicpain I cannot stand for long periods of time.
A lot of games can be played sitting and adjust for that and I do have a small stool but being able to turn and spin on it is difficult and it's not comfortable.
The #RotoVR is amazingly comfortable to sit in, the back support is amazing, and the head tracking with the rotating base actually completely removes motion sickness for me.
