The game of #golf dates back to the 1400s, and early woods and irons were actually made from wood and iron.

This particular square-toe clubhead is made from the latter, dates to the 1500s, and is believed to be the world's oldest iron club. It's made from two pieces, with a layered hosel that wraps halfway around itself, and a laminated blade with construction consistent with the ancient methods used to make Damascus steel.
