#AgathaAllAlong was some of the best TV I've seen in a long while. Better than it had any business being. Incredible writing.
@thewebrecluse
Episode 7 was phenomenal. Outstanding acting, writing, and execution.
@TomeReader OMG YES YES YES and more YES. MINDBLOWINGLY good. Seriously ... I wish most American TV was written within an inch of its life like this and had casts to pull it off. I would watch more if it was ❤️ I think Agatha gets better as it goes along but honestly 7 ... just .... wow
I was shocked by its quality, too. The interwoven writing showed that they conceived of the show holistically (even more so when you get to the ending), which is such a rare treat from a writing team these days. But it also definitely benefitted from its actors: the performances of a few in particular were stunning and necessary for the whole to work. Really great outing.
@MLClark @TomeReader I think when American television realizes the benefit of writing things into small components and ENDING THEM ... they end up creating stuff that is good BECAUSE its contained in 10 episodes or less. Writing is key when things are short. But yes ... acting is always major and you need to nail the casting too. It was clearly written with no just intent but love for the characters. Such a wonderful surprise. I knew it would be good but I didn't know it would floor me. ❤️
@MLClark @TomeReader 1000% truth
