Found season 2 is exactly how I expected it to be. The focus is on continuous tension between all the characters. It's incredibly tedious and boring and all of the really good one on one scenes and dialog that were so amazing in the first season. I am not sure if the show will ever find it's stride again in the way that I felt made it so exceptional. The ratings haven't been improving which doesn't surprise me. Making everyone argue and hate each other doesn't improve a concept ...
The characters all were barely close and they were very broken people who I can't say I ever felt were very genuine towards each other. Now they are kind of at each others throats and just fighting all the time ... it's just really tedious and not enjoyable. I am unsure why showrunners feel that the best way to improve ratings is to change the foundation of the show, turn the characters against each other, and create constant tension. How is that a smart move?
