The news that #RedEye has been recommissioned for a second series absolutely BLEW my mind and also @IronButterfly's. We enjoyed the series with Jing Lusi as DS Hana Li and Lesley Sharp was SO good in her role as Head of MI5.

The two women were amazing together but it was NOT the kind of show that I thought ohhh I'd love to see more. It was a wild ride and it ended brilliantly and I remember thinking I'd love to see Jing Lusi in other things.

This is a huge surprise and I'm genuinely excited!
