@thewebrecluse It says to ask a yes or no question, then gives vague, general interpretations for each card, unrelated to the question, or to the other cards - not even a yes or no answer included.
The cards by design have meanings across the archetypal life experiences all people have. Thrown randomly, they almost always look like they mean something.
This tool makes you ask a binary question, then throws 3 random card meanings with fortune cookie fortunes. Parlor gimmick. I call bunco. ; )
@thewebrecluse As a tarot practitioner, I'm not terribly impressed by how it handled my test questions, and as it uses a similar gimmick I've seen used by con-men as often as greeting card publishers, I'm leery.
I might be biased toward seeing sneaky shit everywhere, though. I am me, after all.
@AskTheDevil as a tarot practitioner this kind of tool isn't for you. It's for people who think that's what tarot is and in that regard it's well made.
@thewebrecluse Unless the AI, instead of being intended to help people get tarot readings, is designed to learn about their wants and needs and longings, so the information can be sold to others and used to manipulate them.
I'd worry more, except I'm watching businesses flounder around going "What's AI? Let's get that!" so there might not be so much deviousness happening as all that.
