The book had some really interesting ideas about "alien" especially when it came to immigration ideas and the lead characters were non-white people and the alien was also a refugee ...
#Teacup is like ... it's own thing. I feel like someone read Stinger in 1988 and remembered a basic idea about 2 aliens and decided to just go with that ... or just make something up. If this is based on Stinger I don't see how ...
But maybe all will be revealed later.
Finally watched the first 2 episodes of #Teacup which is based on an scifi novel written by Robert R McCammon in 1988. It was actually a great story and it was one of the first books I read that had leading people that weren't white ... of course this TV series based on the book features a ton of white people. The only Spanish woman is a woman who dies right at the beginning ... and it's possible that's a kind of homage to the book but ....
I'm not sure where this is going.
